Supporting young people with intellectual disabilities

A youth support service in Auckland, Porirua, Wellington and Invercargill have provided support to young people with intellectual disabilities who are transitioning from school or who have recently left school to achieve their ambitions and goals. The programme has helped young people to develop the skills to be able to speak up for themselves, to make decisions and take a leadership role in developing youth support that works best for them.
