It’s also a time to recognise the youth workers and youth sector organisations that support them. Featuring information on youth-led and/or youth-focused initiatives and events organised under the Youth Week 2026 theme, Our voices matter! We deserve to be heard | Taringa whakarongo! Ki te reo o ngā taiohi, the calendar is a great resource for seeing what’s happening between 18 and 24 May. Find an event near you and celebrate young people throughout Aotearoa New Zealand! If you are involved in organising a Youth Week event in your community you can add it to the Events Calendar.
