Applications are now open for the Live the Dream social entrepreneurship accelerator

30 September 2015

Applications are now open for the third year of the Live the Dream social entrepreneurship accelerator, held over summer in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch.

This 9-week, 32 hour a week programme, which is free of charge, gives you full immersion, mentoring and support to develop a social venture or enterprise, from an early stage idea into something ready to launch. Run by the charity Inspiring Stories, which is led by 2015 Young New Zealander of the Year Guy Ryan, Live the Dream is for anyone who wants to explore business that does good, ideas that change the world, or is passionate about tackling a social problem, even if you don't have the solution to it yet.
It'll teach you invaluable skills that are applicable to most career paths as businesses increasingly look to have greater social impact and corporate social responsibility.

Applications for Live the Dream close on October 4. You don’t need a venture idea to apply - just a sense of what social or environmental problem you want to solve.

Check out last year's participants at the website - some are now working as social entrepreneurs.
