The date is set and Youth Week are now looking for creative young people to help them determine the theme for Youth Week 2012. They are asking young people and people who work with young people, have youth advisory groups, or holiday programmes to ask the young people to help them come up with a theme for Youth Week.
Last year’s theme was “Step Up; Be YOUth, Take Responsibility, Be Heard”. Past themes included Connecting youth and families; Make time for youth; Relate.
We are asking people to send us suggestions for what the theme could be this year. Post your ideas on our facebook page or email your suggestions to us at admin@arataiohi.org.nz. Once we have your ideas we will put together a poll in January to vote for the preferred option.
